The short answerAgree on one shared element, such as the same earrings or the same metal finish, and let each bridesmaid choose the rest. Keep pieces a step lighter than the bride's, choose comfortable earrings for long days, and plan a lighter look for haldi and mehendi.
Bridesmaids in Indian weddings have a busy job: dancing at the sangeet, helping at the haldi, standing for photos at the pheras. Their jewellery should look coordinated in photos and still be comfortable at 2am.

The bride wears the most jewellery in the room. If her look is heavy and traditional, keep bridesmaids light and modern; if she goes minimal, bridesmaids can add a little more colour.
