What is the Lifetime Colour Guarantee?
Every Priskel piece is backed by our Lifetime Colour Guarantee. This means the gold colour of your jewellery is protected for as long as you own it. If the colour ever fades or tarnishes under normal wear — including swimming, showering, sweating, and daily use — we will replace your piece at no cost to you.
Why can we offer this?
Most fashion jewellery uses standard gold plating — a thin layer of gold (typically 0.3 microns) bonded with chemicals that breaks down quickly when exposed to water, sweat, and skin oils. Priskel uses a completely different technology called PVD — Physical Vapor Deposition.
Our 3-micron 18K PVD coating is 10 times thicker than standard gold plating. The gold is bonded to the metal at a molecular level inside a vacuum chamber, creating a layer that is waterproof, sweat-proof, and resistant to tarnishing for life. What is PVD coating?
PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) is a vacuum-based coating process used in medical equipment, aerospace components, and premium jewellery worldwide. In jewellery, PVD creates a bond between 18K gold and the base metal (316L surgical stainless steel) at a molecular level — not just a surface layer. The result is a colour that does not peel, chip, or fade under normal wear conditions.

Email us at support@priskel.com with your order number and a photo of the piece. Our team will review and process your replacement within 3–5 business days. We ship the replacement free of charge across India.
