A wrap ring is an open band whose two ends cross over each other instead of meeting in a closed circle. The Cross-Over Stones Lined Wrap Ring runs a line of set stones along that overlap, on a 316L surgical stainless steel body finished in 3-micron 18K gold PVD.
Will the stones or the finish wear off a wrap ring from handwashing?
No. The Cross-Over Stones Lined Wrap Ring is 100% waterproof and its 3-micron 18K gold PVD coating is bonded at molecular level, about ten times thicker than 0.3-micron electroplating. The stones are set into the steel, so soap and repeated handwashing do not loosen the line.
Is an open wrap ring safe for sensitive skin?
Yes. An open band traps less sweat than a closed one, and the Cross-Over Stones Lined Wrap Ring is nickel-free and lead-free on a 316L surgical stainless steel base. It does not turn skin green, even worn through humid weather and daily handwashing.
How does a wrap ring fit if I am between ring sizes?
A crossover shape is more forgiving than a solid band because the overlap gives the ring a little flex. Check the size options listed on the Cross-Over Stones Lined Wrap Ring product page and pick the larger one if you are between sizes. Avoid repeatedly bending the 316L steel.
